Stamping Techniques

Good morning!

Mary-Ann Maldonado here to share a couple cards I created with the Love Jar Shaker Kit.  I really had an easy time creating with this kit.  If you have been following, the DT is going crazy with it.  I decided to try something a little different and I hope you will like it.

I started with white ink, and white embossing powder on white watercolor paper.  I stamped a few flowers, embossed them and then repeated the same process until I was satisfied with the amount of flowers I had on the card.  I will say, it was hard to see so embossing after each stamp made it easier.

I then used watercolor pencils to create three different areas of my card.  The sky, the flower blossoms and then the grassy area.

I finished off the card with threading the floral Limos on the yellow twin and criss crossing it at the top.  Thats it.  A fun, different kinda card with the Love Jar Shaker Kit.

My next card is quite different.  I usually try to avoid fussy cutting, but it couldn't be helped with the delicate flowers in the stamp set.  I had too.  I brought purple into this card because of the purple flowers in the bag of sequins.  Then paired it with gray to create a different color palette.

Because I don't have a lot of colored stamp pads, I used markers to get the color flowers I wanted.  I just colored the flower stamp, huffed on it and stamped.  Voila, the perfect color!

I used foam tape, to stabilize some of the flowers and added gems included in the kit to the centers of some.

I can not wait to see how you create with this kit.  Head to the website to order yours HERE.
